Beschreibung des Verkäufers The CVVM has an all-plastic fleet, and for the school, a squadron of four Twin Astirs, two DG 1000s, two Duo Discus, one Nimbus 4D, and one ASG32. This remarkably consistent fleet (a quality appreciated by both students and instructors) is used as follows: 1 Twin II, 3 Twin IIIs, and 1 DG 1001 for the beginner school, 1 DG 1000S and 2 Duo Discus for the cross-country school. The Nimbus 4D is used for practicing flap handling on exceptional cross-country flights. Single-seaters range from the "Pégase" to the "Ventus 2 Cx", including the "LS4", "LS 6-C18", "LS8-15", "Discus", "Discus 2C", and "LS8-18". The two DG 100xx and a Twin III also delight aerobatic pilots today. In total 24 gliders are available.
Note: Le Pic played a very important role in the revival of gliding by paraplegic pilots, as the club ordered the first Twin III certified in France, equipped with full manual controls. It currently has three equipped gliders (two tandems and one single-seater).
Two Robin DR 400/180s, and a Dynamic WT9 are on hand to provide towing services, which are generally short, to the slope of the Pic, or, for the wave, to the Hérault valley. Here again, the paved runways are a notable improvement, making takeoffs for heavy tandems safer.
The club operates every day of the year thanks to a great team of volunteers under the leadership of Chief Pilot, Roland Gabriel.
